Flying for Parkinsons

I referred in our May 2020 Newsletter to Microsoft's new version Flight Simulator. What does this have to do with Parkinson's? Well, have a look at these teasers for the software and imagine removing the aircraft and replacing it with a "Magic Carpet". Look at the quality of the "real" scenery. The whole world will be available at this level of image quality. What an amazing way for people who are no longer mobile to be able to spend countless hours exploring the world!

If you are technically minded, you might be interested to know that the scenery database to hold the whole world to this level of detail is more than 2 Petabytes  (ie more than 2,000 Terabytes!)
