A SIX-week Argentine tango course, designed for people with Parkinson's disease, is a hit.
The Tango dancing group sponsored by Port Macquarie Parkinson's Support Group has made the media with articles in Port Macquarie News and on WIN TV news.
Congratulations to our Assistant Secretary Alison Snowden and Vice-President Stuart Snowden for seeing (and seizing) the opportunity provided by dance enthusiasts Sheila MacDougall and Russell Wilkinson to implement this activity.
Thanks to Westport Club there are some excellent books about Parkinson's available for loan from Port Macquarie Public Library
